Bio
This is a new journal of mine.

I've stopped using the other ones in the past and have somehow wandered back into LJ land.

So a little about me.

I am 24 years old and from a small town in PA. I have a 6-year old son named Bradley and a husband on 1 year named Chris. I will mention them a lot so I wanted to let friends know who they are. They are the most important people in my life and mean the world to me.

I am currently tracking my lifestyle changes, and trying to lose weight. I am happy with myself, but I know I have a lot I could improve on health wise.

Some things I think my LJ friends should know.

I'm a pretty open minded girl and realize what's right for me may not be what's right for others. I chose to have my son at 17 and get people judging me a lot. Also that I chose to marry a foreigner that I met online has raised a few eyebrows. Both of those things are very important to me and if anyone has problems with that I'd rather we just aren't friends.

I am a: Mother, Daughter, Wife, Sister, Loyal friend, Opinionated woman

I am not a: Person that gets along with everyone, person that will hide my true feelings to spare yours...I just have to say what I feel or I regret it later.

There are very few things that I feel very strongly about and I will rant/vent from time to time. Some of these include.

*Universal Healthcare in the U.S. --I won't stop until every American can have some form of coverage....I hope they soon adapt this like many other countries have.

*Marriage- A few things upset me with this topic.
1. People who chose not to get married even though they have a child should not be looked own upon in my opinion.
2. Interracial/International marriages should be accepted more than I see lately.
3. Same sex marriage. The U.S. has finally allowed this in California and it caused a big media craze. Hopefully other states will follow.

Bottom line...I don't think ANYONE has the right to judge...Who cares? I am in support of any marriage of people who are in love. 'nuff said.

I don't expect my friends to feel the same way as I do regarding issues. I just expect them to respect my feelings and I will do the same for them ;)
